Conference Updates

Sponsors

Hello SASFAA, this is your 2018-2019 Sponsorship Chair, Chester Priest, with an update!  As of February 5, 2019 we have 31 sponsors/contributors for conference support!

There are 5 “Lunch and Learn” sessions on Monday the 18th at 11:30 that our sponsors are presenting:

  • Introduction to Oracle Student Financial Planning Cloud Service
  • For Low-Income Students, Success Depends on More Than Just Financial Aid
  • Innovations in Financial Aid Management Solutions: What's Inceptia Uncomplicating Now?
  • Engaging Students Using an Artificially Intelligent Chatbot
  • Student Consumer Credit
We will also have a game (with prizes) for the you, the attendees!  Just visit each sponsor table, and get your entry card marked.  Once you've visited all sponsors, and your card is complete, turn it in to yours truly, and be entered in the Wednesday morning drawing!

Ready, Set, Go!

The final countdown is on!
The conference committee is en route to the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead, Atlanta.
Pre-Conference workshops are ready to begin.

Now, we just need you!  Remember - the Opening Session begins at 4:00 PM on Sunday, and is followed by the President's Reception.  This is a great time to participate in the business of your association, and reconnect with friends and contacts from across SASFAA.

To make your conference a little more enjoyable, be sure to bring items to be used for Bingo prizes - school logo items, that extra scarf or pair of gloves that you never use, or Christmas "regifts" all make great Bingo prizes.  Don't worry, we won't tell your family that you brought that gift to donate.

We also need items for the silent auction which will benefit this year's charity.  It's a great way for you to make a difference in the lives of college students in Georgia and South Carolina.

Make plans to spend some extra time in Atlanta taking advantage of the special discounts available to SASFAA members.
