Condolences

This announcement is shared with us by our Kentucky Association (KASFAA)--

We have learned that Ron Duvall passed away this past weekend in Arizona.

Ron was KASFAA President for the 1995-96 KASFAA year.  In 2001, Ron was awarded KASFAA’s highest honor – The Herb Vescio Distinguished Service Award.  In 2003, when Ron left Kentucky for Arizona, he was awarded with KASFAA Honorary Life Membership.

Ron Duvall served in a variety of positions for KHEAA/KHESLC including:  Chief Information Officer, Deputy Director – Division of Loan Programs, Manager Student Loan Service Center and Manager State Grant Programs.  After leaving Kentucky, Ron also worked with Southwest Student Services and Sallie Mae.

Final arrangements are still being made, and may take longer than usual due to the distance between Arizona and Kentucky.  We will send that information to you when it is available.  Meanwhile, you’ll find below information received regarding expressions of condolences.

KASFAA will long remember Ron’s energy, hard work, encouragement, and smile.  We extend our sympathies to Ron’s family and friends.
