Sometimes, we get bogged down in day-to-day routines. Oftentimes, we're focusing on schedules, running here and there, etc., yet we forget that each of us has many things for which we need to be thankful.
As November rolls around and bring in our recognized season of Thanksgiving, I found this tool personally helpful. I did this 'project' with our staff, and it helps accomplish at least 2 things.
1.
Forces us to reflect upon those things
for which we are thankful that we sometimes might forget.
2.
Reminds us that we as coworkers are real
people--sharing many of the same ideals, motivations, etc.
I plan to compile our staff members' lists into one big list
that I will share with our department as a whole. You may find something
like this useful in your offices, too.
