Event Details:                     In honor of their colleague and friend, Darryl R. Burt II, and every victim of the tragedy in Orlando, Keiser University (6430 Southpoint Parkway) will be holding a blood drive on campus, June 30 from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Darryl was laid to rest in his home town of Amelia, Virginia this past Saturday. Several of Darryl’s coworkers attended the service to say their final goodbyes to a young man they described as having an unforgettable smile.  Darryl was highly respected in the field of higher education for his work with returning Veterans seeking a college degree to start the next chapter of their lives. Darryl was also a valued member of the Jacksonville Jaycees and a gofundme account me has been established in his memory https://www.gofundme.com/Darryl-Burt-ll

How can SASFAA help? Have some extra change that you found when you recently cleaned out your vehicle? Decided to skip lunch and have an extra $5 or so? Just want to donate to a very worthy cause? Donate to the gofundme account at the above link? Every dollar helps and shows our support to a colleague's memory.
